Claire is first and foremost a people person; she’s vivacious, friendly and has a great sense of humour. Claire excels as an interviewer and as such has interviewed for BAFTA Academy Circle, moderated Q&As at the Apple Store, Regent Street, hosted Comic Con panel talks to audiences of over 300 people and has relished interviewing the likes of Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Dame Helen Mirren, Andy Serkis and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Her ability to put people at ease, treat people equally and gain their trust has earned her an excellent reputation presenting on the red carpet. Punctuality is paramount to Claire and always conducts herself in a professional manor; she is organised and well prepared.

Claire is at home with many facets of presenting, talk-back, straight to camera, walk and talk etc. Another asset that Claire has is script writing. She loves to be creative with words and is able to generate good entertaining scripts in a very short time and in environments that some could find distracting.

She’s a team player but also able to work on her own initiative and has total commitment to her craft.

Claire has interviewed a host of actors ranging from action hero Jason Statham to Hollywood legends such as Dustin Hoffman and James Cameron and provoked responses such as “That’s an amazing question” from Tom Hiddleston and “That’s the first great question” from Jean-Claude van Damme.

Claire builds an instant rapport and delivers highly entertaining interviews.

Her adaptable interview technique has allowed her to interview people from all walks of life even those who are not used to the media attention and helped them feel at ease.

She is always well prepared, writes her own scripts after thorough research, and asks intelligent questions.

Technology

Before embarking on her TV career Claire’s background was in IT, she is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and has experience working in private and public sectors.

Claire’s in-depth knowledge allows her to pronounce and use technical terms with ease because she understands it. Hearing technological terms can at times appear as if you’re hearing another language but Claire’s interpersonal skills and understanding of people allows her to gauge and adapt the language to their level which she has been able to demonstrate in a live TV environment.

Combining her knowledge, quick thinking and lively personality allows her to confidently turn what can be a dry subject into something entertaining and informative making her ideal for the corporate market.
